Why Refinish
New cabinets cost tens of thousands.
Refinishing? A fraction of that.
If your cabinet boxes are structurally sound, there's almost no reason to replace them. Here's what the difference actually looks like:
Cabinet Replacement
New stock or semi-custom, medium kitchen, installed
Cabinet Refinishing
Medium kitchen, spray-applied finish, doors rehung
Most Omaha homeowners save significantly by refinishing instead of replacing. If your boxes are solid, refinishing is almost always the right call.
Every project ends with a walkthrough. We go cabinet by cabinet with you, checking every edge, every corner, every detail.
If something is not right, we fix it on the spot. You do not pay until you are completely satisfied.
How It Works
The Spray Finish Makes the Difference
Brush-and-roll cabinet painting leaves texture in the finish. You can see the brush marks in the light. We spray every cabinet door flat offsite using an HVLP sprayer. The result is smooth, even, and indistinguishable from factory-finished cabinetry.

Degrease & Clean

Sand & Prep

Prime & Spray

Reinstall
Doors rehung, hardware installed, final walkthrough.
Preferred ContractorWe use the same paint professional cabinet shops use
Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel is a waterborne alkyd hybrid that cures to a hard, scrubbable surface. It's rated for high-traffic areas and handles the humidity and grease of a kitchen. Most failures you see in cabinet painting come from improper prep or using the wrong product. Emerald Urethane is the right product.
We prime with Zinsser BIN shellac-based primer, which is the critical adhesion layer that makes the finish last years instead of months. This combination of products, applied with proper technique, is why our cabinet finishes hold up to daily use without chipping or peeling.

Where We Work
Serving Omaha & Surrounding Areas
Most of our cabinet refinishing projects are in West Omaha: Elkhorn, Papillion, Millard, and Bennington. These neighborhoods have a lot of homes built in the 1990s and early 2000s with original oak or maple cabinets that are structurally sound but visually dated. That's our sweet spot.
